According to the teachers, Aaron is Leaenn's best pal in Skool and they are always together.  See, they are sitting next to each other again.

A Typical Day

Kudos to Daddy who has been sending Leaenn to Skool via MRT be it rain or shine. And also PoPo who has been fetching Leaenn every afternoon.

Since our house is conveniently located near the MRT, we see no reason to drive to work. Every day, Tanah Merah to Raffles Place. Luckily, there’s always an empty train arriving at Tanah Merah around 8am and Daddy and Leaenn will wait for this particular train. 

Occasionally, the empty train went MIA and Daddy would have to carry Leaenn all the way to Raffles Place when others pretend to be sleeping.

 

Daddy, Don't be Sad!

Leaenn hates to be neglected and whenever Daddy and Mummy chat too long over a meal or during our car rides, Leaenn will always go:

"No, Mummy No. No, Daddy No."

Or: "Mummy, Mummy, Mummy …….." until Mummy acknowledges her presence.

Once Mummy was chatting with PoPo, ignoring Leaenn,

Leaenn said to Mummy: "Listen to me, Mummy. Talk to me, Mummy."

Saturday evening, we were all in the living room and Daddy was watching Arsenal vs Liverpool match and Mummy was playing with Leaenn, ignoring Daddy. As Arsenal went 1 down, and then 2 down, Daddy was devastated and great sense of disappointment could be felt.

Leaenn must have sensed how upset Daddy was as she suddenly turned to Mummy and said:

"Mummy, can you talk to Daddy. Mummy, talk to Daddy."

Touched by the little gesture from Leaenn, Mummy explained to Leaenn that Daddy is upset that Arsenal lost to Liverpool and suggested that Leaenn give Daddy a big hug and ask him not to be too sad.

Instantly, Leaenn got up from where she was sitting, went over to Daddy, gave Daddy a big hug, a pat on the shoulder and said, "Daddy, don’t be sad."

How could Daddy still be sad after seeing how sweet his little princess is???  Though Daddy still woke up with a tremendous heartsore on Sunday.

Chopstick Mess

Leaenn finished a small bowl of mee sua using chopsticks and spoon .........

Good Job, Mummy! Good Job!

Leaenn took 2 cards and asked mummy to guess.

Leaenn: Mummy, which one?

Mummy: This one.

Leaenn: Good job, Mummy! Good job!

Mummy: Do you have tails like monkeys?

Leaenn: No! I got butt butt (Patting her butt).

Innocent Mind

Mummy: Have you been a good girl today?
Leaenn: Yes, but I asked PoPo to carry me.
Mummy: You are a big girl now. Got to walk on your own. What if PoPo falls down?
Leaenn: PoPo dies.........

Daddy to Mummy: Leaenn's shoes smell like a dog!
Leaenn overheard us: Doggie wears my shoes??...
Haha a...

Talking to 婆婆 on the telephone...
婆婆: 你在哪里？
乐恩: 我在这里。
婆婆: 你刚才去哪里？
乐恩: 我去那里！
婆婆: ...???

Mummy commented that she has no slippers at home.

Leaenn: I go home take coins and buy for you ok? See, I got no coins now. (Showing mummy her pocket)

Every night before Leaenn sleeps, she will kiss mummy's tummy and say:
"Good night, Didi."
Yesterday, she looked at Daddy and Mummy and said:
"I want Didi to say good night JieJie also!"
