Useful Plastic Bag

While Daddy, Mummy and Jie Jie were enjoying milkshake at BLIC @ Simpang Bedok, our dear Di Di was also producing and dispensing his very home brand of milkshake. The supply was so much that it leaked.

As baby changing room is unheard of at Simpang Bedok and Daddy and Mummy figured that it would be too messy to change in the car under the dim lighting, we decided to head straight home since its only a 5 mins drive.

Hmmm…. Where to place Keaen Boy??? Not in the car seat since he had soiled his clothes…..Oh well, so here he goes ……. in a A BIG PLASTIC BAG……

Farewell Splint! YEAH!

Due to Keaen's breech position in the womb, he was born with developmental dysplasia of the hip. According to the orthopaedic surgeon, this is quite common and everything will be set right after wearing a splint for the first 6 weeks of his life. During his ultrasound on 17 Feb, his right hip was already in place but his left hip was still a little out under stress. As such, he had to wear the splint for another 6 weeks and had another ultrasound on 30 Mar.  During this period, it really saddened me to see him trying to flip but unable to as he was hindered by the splint.

On 30 Mar, Josh and I brought Keaen back for review and thank God, all is well now!Goodbye Splint! YEAH!

Another piece of good news is, Keaen did his first flip today (2 Apr 2012) (@ exactly 3 months old @ 2.45pm).
